Dr. Maranda Trahan is a behavioral gerontologist and a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA®). She specializes in using behavioral assessments and interventions with older adults, and prescribes non-pharmacological interventions for individuals with dementia who exhibit behavioral problems.
She graduated in 2004 from Louisiana State University with a bachelor’s degree in Psychology. She continued her education in Behavior Analysis and Therapy at Southern Illinois University in Carbondale, IL, where she received her master’s of science in 2007 and doctorate in 2010. Dr. Trahan finished a three-year postdoctoral fellowship in Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology at The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in August 2013.
Dr. Trahan is the founder of Trahan Behavioral Services.
